HubSpot Agent Hub: Everything That Changed From Breeze (2026)

Introduction

On 23 July 2026, HubSpot announced Agent Hub, a new home for its AI agents, and renamed Breeze Studio to Agent Builder. The same morning, five beta agents were quietly retired, and custom agents started consuming paid credits.

If you use HubSpot’s AI tools (or you’re evaluating them), the short version is this: HubSpot Agent Hub is Breeze Agents with a new name, a new dashboard, and some genuinely new rules about what costs money. The tools themselves haven’t been replaced. The packaging, the line-up, and parts of the billing have.

This post covers exactly what changed, what was retired, what the credit changes mean, and what to check in your own portal this week. If you want the full picture of what Breeze actually is and whether it’s any good, that lives in our complete HubSpot Breeze review. This is the news version.

What Actually Changed on 23 July 2026

The announcement introduced two names, Agent Hub and Agent Builder, both in public beta for Professional and Enterprise customers. Neither is a new product you pay for separately. Agent Hub is where HubSpot’s existing agents now live, and Agent Builder is the renamed Breeze Studio.

Here’s the full mapping between the old names and the new ones:

Before Now What it is
Breeze Agents Agent Hub The home for all pre-built and custom agents
Breeze Studio Agent Builder The tool for building custom agents and agentic workflows
Breeze Copilot Breeze Assistant The in-app AI assistant (renamed back in 2025, unchanged in this update)
Breeze Intelligence Breeze Intelligence Data enrichment. Keeps the Breeze name
Separate AI credit pools HubSpot Credits One unified pool for all AI usage

The Breeze brand isn’t dead. Assistant and Intelligence keep it, and you’ll still see “Breeze” scattered through HubSpot’s interface. But as the umbrella name for the agents, it’s gone: HubSpot’s knowledge-base page for Breeze now redirects to Understand Agent Hub.

Worried this means another subscription? It doesn’t. If you’re on a Professional or Enterprise tier of any hub (Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, Data, or Smart CRM), you already have Agent Hub. You pay for what agents do through HubSpot Credits, not for access to the hub itself.

Inside, there are three surfaces: the hub itself (every agent organised by the outcome it drives, with live status), an Agent Inbox (a log of every agent run and its result), and an Agent Marketplace for installing pre-built agents. A Context area gathers your knowledge vaults, teams, and processes in one place, and workflows are embedded so agents and automations share one canvas. HubSpot’s pitch, from Chief Product and Technology Officer Duncan Lennox: “One place to see agent performance, all working together and using shared context.”

Partners moved quickly. One Gold Partner wrote on the announcement thread that Agent Builder launched mid-way through a sales call about AI, and “I was able to show them how to use it in real time”.

The Agent Hub Line-Up Now (and What Was Retired)

Agent Hub launches with a smaller, more focused roster than the Breeze Agents list most guides still describe.

The line-up as of August 2026:

Agent Status What it does
Customer Agent GA Answers support conversations from your knowledge sources
Prospecting Agent GA Researches companies and drafts outreach. Now open to all paid tiers
Data Agent GA Enriches and maintains CRM data
Deal Progression GA Recommends next steps on open deals
HubSpot AEO Beta Improves your brand’s visibility in AI-powered search
Custom agents Public beta Whatever you build in Agent Builder

Retired on 23 July 2026: the Social Post, ABM Landing Page, RFP, Cross-Sell/Upsell, and Sales to Marketing agents. If you’d installed any of them, your copy stays in your portal and keeps working, but it won’t receive updates and nobody can install them fresh. A few other early betas we’ve tracked this year, including the Personalisation and Blog Research agents, no longer appear in HubSpot’s documentation at all.

That churn is worth pausing on. If a process in your business leans on a beta agent, this restructure is the reminder that HubSpot can and does retire them. Their stated commitment is to aim for 30 days’ notice before a beta feature starts consuming credits, not that any given agent will stick around.

Custom Agents Now Use Credits

The biggest practical change hides behind the rename: since 23 July, custom agent runs bill against your HubSpot Credits balance. During the private beta they were free. Now every run counts, at one credit per action unit per the Products & Services Catalog, and the Content Agent is catalogued in beta at 1,000 credits (about $10) per content piece.

Credits themselves work the way they have since HubSpot unified them. $10 buys 1,000 credits, so one credit is $0.01. Every AI feature draws from the same pool, and Breeze Intelligence enrichment no longer has a separate balance. New feature-level credit limits, added in July, mean admins can finally cap what a single feature is allowed to spend.

Before you switch a custom agent on, three controls are worth setting: the estimated cost preview shown when you build, per-agent run limits, and a total spend cap. Practitioners were recommending exactly this in the week billing went live, and it’s good advice. An agent that runs on a trigger can consume credits while you sleep.

Does the Agent Hub Rename Change Pricing?

For the pre-built agents, no. The rename didn’t touch the pricing model HubSpot moved to in April 2026. The Customer Agent still consumes 50 credits, roughly $0.50, each time it resolves a conversation without human help, and HubSpot reports that 70% of conversations are resolved automatically. Plan requirements are unchanged too: agents remain a Professional and Enterprise feature.

What did change on the cost side sits at the edges. Custom agents now consume credits, the retired betas are gone rather than free, and the unified pool means every team’s AI usage competes for the same balance.

If you’re modelling a real monthly bill, don’t do it from the headline rates alone. Seat prices, the mandatory onboarding fee, and how “resolved” is defined all move the number. We keep the complete arithmetic current in our HubSpot AI pricing guide.

What Agent Hub Means for Support Teams

If you run support on HubSpot, the agent that matters is the Customer Agent, and it came through the restructure functionally untouched. The movement has been around its edges.

Behaviour controls called Guidelines arrived in June 2026 (tone, response style, scripted responses, and guardrails, on Pro and Enterprise), catching up with the controls specialist tools have offered for a while. Voice is now a beta channel, forms joined the channel list, and July added coaching that turns rep ratings into feedback. Our Breeze Customer Agent review covers the full picture, costs included.

One note of caution from inside HubSpot’s own community is worth passing on. A Gold Partner on the announcement thread warned that even with retrieval-augmented generation, an agent can still misread an ambiguous record or invent a connection that isn’t there, and closed with two words: “Remain vigilant.” However the branding evolves, AI hallucination is still the failure mode to test for before any agent goes in front of customers.

And if the credit maths or the Professional-plan gate doesn’t fit your business, that part hasn’t changed either. You can still add an AI chatbot to the HubSpot chat widget on any plan, including Free and Starter. Our AI chatbot for HubSpot answers from your knowledge base, comes with an anti-hallucination guarantee, and costs a flat monthly price instead of per-conversation credits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is HubSpot Breeze now called Agent Hub?

Partly. On 23 July 2026 HubSpot moved Breeze Agents into a new home called Agent Hub and renamed Breeze Studio to Agent Builder, both in public beta. Breeze Assistant and Breeze Intelligence keep the Breeze name. The agents themselves were reorganised, not replaced.

Is Agent Hub a separate HubSpot subscription?

No. Agent Hub is included with Professional and Enterprise tiers of any hub, including Smart CRM, with no separate licence. You pay for what agents actually do through HubSpot Credits, which cost $10 per 1,000 and are shared across all of HubSpot’s AI features.

What happened to Breeze Studio?

Breeze Studio was renamed Agent Builder on 23 July 2026. It’s the same custom-agent tool, now in public beta inside Agent Hub. You describe what you want to Breeze Assistant in plain language, and it builds custom agents and agentic workflows on your existing CRM data.

Which HubSpot agents were retired in 2026?

Five templated beta agents were retired on 23 July 2026: Social Post, ABM Landing Page, RFP, Cross-Sell/Upsell, and Sales to Marketing. Installed copies keep working in your portal but receive no further updates, and the agents can no longer be newly installed.

Do HubSpot custom agents cost credits now?

Yes. Since 23 July 2026, custom agent runs bill against your HubSpot Credits balance at one credit per action unit. During the private beta they were free to run. HubSpot shows an estimated cost preview per agent, and admins can set run limits and spend caps.

What to Do Next

The rename itself needs nothing from you. The changes around it might. Three checks are worth ten minutes this week:

  • Check your credit settings. Custom agents and more beta features now bill usage. Confirm whether you’re set to pay-as-you-go overages or auto-upgrade, and set spend caps before an agent surprises you.
  • Check for retired agents. If a workflow leans on the Social Post, ABM Landing Page, RFP, Cross-Sell/Upsell, or Sales to Marketing agent, it’s now frozen in place. Plan a replacement.
  • Re-check your bookmarks and internal docs. Old Breeze knowledge-base links now redirect, and most guides written before July still teach the old names.

If the restructure has you re-evaluating what HubSpot’s support AI costs, this is a sensible moment for it. Resolve247’s AIChatbot works inside the HubSpot widget on every plan, with flat pricing from $35/mo and a 30-day free trial, no credit card required. Whatever HubSpot Agent Hub becomes next, you’ll know your support answers and your support bill are both under control.
