What are cookies?

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and how we use them, the types of cookies we use i.e. the information we collect using cookies and how that information is used, and how to manage the cookie settings.

Cookies are small text files that are used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when the website is loaded on your browser. These cookies help us make the website function properly, make it more secure, provide better user experience, and understand how the website performs and to analyze what works and where it needs improvement.

How do we use cookies?

As most of the online services, our website uses first-party and third-party cookies for several purposes. First-party cookies are mostly necessary for the website and application to function in the right way, and they do not collect any of your personally identifiable data.

The third-party cookies used on our website are mainly for understanding how the website performs, how you interact with our website, keeping our services secure, and all in all providing you with a better and improved user experience and enhance future interactions with our website.

What types of cookies do we use?

Essential cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with our services, such as logging in to our app etc. Without these cookies, the services we provide are not possible, and we only use these cookies to provide you with those services.

Optional cookies

These cookies are helpful to us, but not essential to provide you with our services. We use these optional cookies to enhance your experience of our website, monitor how the website performs, and to understand how visitors use our website. Without these cookies, our services can still be provided, but we may be less able to improve your experience in the future.

Analytics we use

  • PostHog (product analytics and session recording). Sets a cookie (ph_…_posthog) and matching browser storage so we can recognise your browser across our pages and on app.resolve247.ai. Session recording captures how you move through our pages, including what you type into forms (except passwords), so we can find and fix problems.
  • Google Analytics. Sets _ga and _ga_… cookies to measure visits.
  • First-visit record. When analytics is allowed, we keep a small record (r247_first_touch) in your browser of how you first found us (the referring website, any campaign tags, and the page you landed on). If you sign up, the referring website and campaign tags are passed to our app so we can see which pages lead to sign-ups.
  • Chat assistant. Our chat assistant stores a random visitor ID and a session ID in your browser so a conversation can continue across pages.

What's on by default depends on where you are

  • EU and EEA (and Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar): we ask before using any analytics cookies or session recording. Until you choose, we count visits anonymously: PostHog and Google Analytics set no cookies and store no identifier on your device.
  • UK: PostHog analytics is on by default. Google Analytics and session recording stay off unless you choose Accept All Cookies. You can opt out at any time.
  • Everywhere else: PostHog analytics, Google Analytics and session recording are on by default. You can opt out at any time.

We work out your region from your connection when you arrive. If we can't tell, we treat you as being in the EU. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and you haven't made a choice on our site, we treat it as a choice of Essential Only.

How to accept/reject cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies on our Website. You can manage your cookie preferences by accepting or declining optional cookies. Use the (change choice) link next to Cookies at the bottom of any page, or click here to adjust your cookie preferences. Essential Only turns analytics cookies off and deletes the ones we have stored. Accept All Cookies allows them all. We remember your choice in your browser (cookieConsent), which is strictly necessary.

Essential cookies cannot be rejected as they are strictly necessary to provide you with the services on our Website. If you don't wish to accept any cookies from us, you should instruct your browser to refuse cookies from https://resolve247.ai and https://app.resolve247.ai. In such a case, we may be unable to appropriately operate the application in your browser.

How to manage cookies in different browsers

If you wish to control cookies directly in your browser, different browsers provide different methods to block and delete cookies used by websites. You can change the settings of your browser to block/delete the cookies. Listed below are the links to the support documents on how to manage and delete cookies from the major web browsers.
